Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II will take you across three different dimensions, where you’ll meet all kinds of new friends and enemies. Compile Heart recently demonstrated a fight against a Dark Goddess named “Dark Purple”.
The footage starts at 0:17 in the video, and they say that this is actually one of the tougher fights, which you can probably guess by just seeing the giant size of boss they’re fighting, named “Dark Purple”.
Noire goes into her Next Purple form, and it seems quite effective after knocking off a good chunk of the boss’ health. They then demonstrate a few more Next Form attacks to add to the total damage with Next Blanc and Next Purple.
While the player’s been throwing everything they’ve got against the Dark Goddess, several party members are shown going out of commission, so they have to rely on Noire and the little they have left to keep doing damage.
At 5:11, you can get a look at an older Neptune, who busts out with guns and dual blade attacks. She’s a little older than the regular Neptune, and has a bit of a different voice to show that she’s just a little more mature than what we’re used to.
Next Vert also joins in on the action, as she uses her Infinite Spear attack to deal some serious damage against Dark Purple. After doing enough damage to the boss, it becomes a little noticeable in appearance.
The new CPU Uzume also shows off her moves at 7:50, but she immediately gets one-shot killed afterwards. In the end, Neptune does what she does best, and took the glory after landing the finishing blow.
Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II will release in Japan on April 23, 2015 for PlayStation 4.
