Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII has arrived in the global version of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Lightning’s base rarity is 5 stars and her Job Class is a L’Cie. She attacks with various elements including Ice, Fire and Thunder. Lightning’s Limit Burst is her signature attack Army of One.
Lightning is the first character from the Final Fantasy XIII series to appear in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Producer Hiroki Fujimoto recently revealed to DualShockers that they received great feedback when she was added to the Japanese version and because of that she was added to the global version faster.
Right now only her gear from Final Fantasy XIII is available but producer Hiroki Fujimoto revealed in an official updates video that she will become stronger in the future, teasing she’ll gain her Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII gear at a later time. For comparison’s sake, In Final Fantasy Record Keeper Lightning also gained her Final Fantasy XIII-2 gear at a later time through an event.
Lightning is not the only new character added in the latest update however with brand new characters called Ludmille and Charlotte also added. These characters have never previously appeared in a Final Fantasy game.
Charlotte’s Job Class is a Knight and her base rarity is 4 stars. She has high defense and her Limit Burst is Barricade.
Ludmille’s Job Class is a Red Mage and her base rarity is also 4 stars. She has high attack and magic. She uses Red, White & Grey Magic and her Limit Burst is Dual-Cast.
From now until September 30 at 00:59 PDT, all 3 newly added characters will be featured summons. As featured summons there will be a major boost their drop rates.
Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is now available worldwide for iOS & Android devices. A release on the Amazon Appstore was also recently confirmed.
