An otome visual novel along the lines of Hatoful Boyfriend and Paca Plus has come to Android and Apple iOS devices. Usaya has localized My Horse Prince, known in Japan as Uma no Prince-sama. In this game, a young woman unable to find love in the city heads to a ranch in search of an attractive boyfriend. Instead, she finds a horse with a human man’s face.
This game is part visual novel and part clicker game. Each episode begins with a segment going over the current predicament the heroine is experiencing with Yuuma, the Horse Prince. It then goes to a clicker segment where he’ll be eating carrots in the field, running on treadmills, or chopping vegetables while wearing an apron and holding a knife. In this portion, you must keep his energy up while answering his questions, like telling him where the pudding he bought went, so he can complete a task. Once that’s accomplished, you see that chapter’s conclusion and can move onto the next.
My Horse Prince is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. It’s free-to-play, though someone can pay $0.99 to remove adds or buy $0.99 Golden Carrot and $1.99 Golden Horseshoes to speed through the clicker segments.
