The new Vampire Survivors Laborratory update is now live and adds new unlockable characters, weapons, and stages. This guide will explain how to unlock the Laborratory stage in Vampire Survivors.
Vampire Survivors Laborratory Stage Unlock Requirements
To unlock the Laborratory stage in Vampire Survivors, you need to find 33 Rosaries after downloading the free update released on April 29th, 2024. If you have already been playing Vampire Surivors for months, or even years at this point, you have likely picked up thousands of the item already.
The good news is the achievement is triggered retroactively. The only thing you need to do is to boot up any stage and pick up a single Rosary to unlock Laborratory. However, if you are a newer player or haven’t picked up enough Rosaries, we will break down how to get the item so you can access the new stage.
Here are the steps to unlock Laborratory in Vampire Survivors:
- Boot up any stage and collect 33 Rosaries.
- If you have already collected 33 Rosaries on your save file, load into any level and pick up a single Rosary.
- After you get a Rosary, pause your game and select “quit” to get the Laborratory achievement to pop up.
- From the main menu, select a character and then access the level stage.
- Laborratory can now be found under the “Whiteout” Stage.
- If you haven’t found 33 Rosaries yet, go collect them and then follow the steps above once you have.
Where to Find Rosaries in Vampire Survivors
In Vampire Survivors, Rosaries are found inside breakable items on any stage, such as candlesticks. The quickest way to get enough of these items is to pick a powerful character, such as “Queen Sigma,” and boot up an easy early-game level, such as “The Inlaid Library” stage.
Below are the steps to find Rosaries in Vampire Survivors:
- Choose Queen Sigma on the Character screen.
- Choose the “Inlaid Library” stage.
- Before you start the level, choose the “Mad Groove (VIII)” Arcana. This will ensure you level up quickly.
- As soon as you are given a choice of a weapon with Queen Sigma, pick the Pentagram.
- If you don’t have Queen Sigma, that is fine. Regardless, run through the Library and smash any candlestick you see for a chance to pick up a Rosary.
- Keep leveling up your Pentagram and evolve it into Gorgeous Moon by combining it with the Crown item.
- At this point, just destroy anything in your path and keep smashing Candlesticks to pick up Rosaries.
- Reload the level when you need to and repeat the above steps until you get 33 Rosaries.
Once you find 33 Rosaries, you will also unlock the Hyper Laborratory stage variant as well. So after you collect enough of the items you are good to go. Just remember if you have already been playing Vampire Surivors for awhile now, you only need to pick up a single Rosary to unlock Laborratory. Just make sure to quit the stage as soon as you pick the item up.
