Blueside is working on a VR-exclusive cinematic action shooter with Gungrave VR, featuring various improvements on the 2002 PS2 title for PSVR, and it releases in Japan on December 14.

The information comes from the above trailer from Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia that gives us a look at the latest PlayStation VR lineup.

As previously detailed, Gungrave VR is a PSVR-optimized version of Gungrave that keeps its world intact and goes beyond the story of Gungrave: Overdose. The game’s third-person “Full-Break Action” and first-person “Dynamic Shooting” will all be shown in VR.

Gungrave VR is being made by Iggybom, featuring many veterans from the South Korean gaming industry as well as numerous original staff members. The original Gungrave illustrator Yasuhiro Nightow and composer Tsuneo Imaori are also involved in its development.

Gungrave VR releases in Japan on December 14, 2017 for PlayStation VR.
