The original story is being written by Kazuki Nakashima, the original writer of Kill la Kill. It is described as a “what if” story that splits in the middle of the original work, as a new episode of Kill la Kill that fans can enjoy. Satsuki Kiryuin who is the rival of Ryuko Matoi, the protagonist in the anime, will be the protagonist of Kill la Kill the Game.

We also got a sneak peek at a brand-new original costume for Satsuki Kiryuin. It is designed by Shigeto Koyama along with Sushio who worked as the character designer of the original work. This new costume, called “Jinketsu Shinzui” is meant to be the other side of the Senketsu Kisaragi that Ryuko Matoi used in the anime.

Kill la Kill: The Game IF releases in 2019 for PlayStation 4 and PC.
