Sega Games has introduced what is being added to the large-scale update for Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation, which is set to roll out the end of January. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
Devil Scanner
The Devil Scanner is a new AR feature that is separate from the main game. Using the Decoder on recognized objects will summon a demon that you can negotiate with. Summoning them will increase their friendship, and when Friendship reaches certain levels, you’ll gain rewards. You can do this thrice a day, and also trade demons in this mode with other faction members.
Spirits Infusion
In Spirits Infusion, you’ll be able to strengthen demons by spending Mitama and Mitama Drops. These resources are found by summoning and negotiating with the Mitama type of demon that is being added alongside the Aura Gate in this latest update.
There is a limit to how much you can strengthen each demon, and the lower the rarity, the higher the limit you can strengthen them. Furthermore, you can reduce the strengthened stats via Purification.
