A Steam free week for several Degica Maker games have been announced. Until March 19, 2019, people can try out the full versions of RPG Maker MV, Pixel Game Maker, and Visual Novel Maker. In addition, all three of those games are on sale for the duration of the free week event.
Each of the three titles allow people a chance to use the software for certain sorts of games. RPG Maker MV is for RPGs, Pixel Game Maker MV is for action games, and Visual Novel Maker is for visual novels. (However, people have been known to get creative and push the limits of the programs, especially in the case of the RPG Maker series.) During the sale, people can get RPG Maker MV for $19.99 instead of $79.99, Pixel Game Maker MV for $63.74 instead of $84.99, and Visual Novel Maker for $35.99 instead of $59.99.
In addition, two other RPG Maker games are on sale. RPG Maker VX Ace is currently $13.99. It normally is $69.99. Meanwhile, RPG Maker XP is down to $4.99 from $24.99.
As a reminder, a version of RPG Maker MV is available for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan and will be released worldwide. However, the Xbox One version has been canceled.
