We previously heard from Dead or Alive 6 producer Yohei Shimbori that a free-to-play version, Dead or Alive 6: Core Fighters, is coming after release, and it is now available with its first four characters.

Similar to the Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate: Core Fighters version, it comes with four playable characters and almost all of the game’s modes. Players can purchase characters individually to continue playing the free version while having access to the characters they paid for.

However, the rest of the roster will always switch out a group of four characters after a certain period of time. The first four characters for Dead or Alive 6: Core Fighters is Kasumi, Hitomi, Diego, and Bass.

Dead or Alive 6: Core Fighters is available via PlayStation Store for PS4, via Microsft Store for Xbox One, via Steam for PC.

Dead or Alive 6 is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Producer Shimbori also talked about “making the world’s best entertainment” in a recent interview.
