Following the reveal that Tabegoro! Super Monkey Ball would be bringing Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC in Japan, Sega has confirmed it will be released worldwide as well. In fact, it will appear outside of Japan first. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD will appear on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 29, 2019. (In Japan, it will debut on consoles on October 31, 2019.) The PC release will follow in Winter 2019. The console versions will get digital and physical releases.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD is not just a remaster with optimized control schemes. It also has some new content. For example, there will be a Mini-Game Decathalon mode, which will have people go through 10 of its minigames in a row. There are also online leaderboards for the Time Attack and Mini-Game Decathalon Score Attack modes.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz is immediately available for the Wii. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD will appear on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One outside of Japan on October 29, 2019, and on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan on October 31, 2019. A PC version will appear on Steam worldwide in Winter 2019.
