Last year, we learned Project Atom and Active Gaming Media were working on a free-to-play collectable card game inspired by Astro Boy called Astro Boy: Edge of Time. Now, we have a release window. The PC version of the game will be coming to Steam in June 2017.

Astro Boy: Edge of Time is a crowdfunded project that failed on Kickstarter, but succeeded on Makuake. The game has a single player campaign and online multiplayer. People from many different universes life peacefully in The Sprawl until Demon King Goa arrives. It is then up to players, as summoners, to use hard light construct variations of characters they have met in a card game to save The Sprawl. Your goal is to save the day and find Astro Boy along the way.

The Steam page for Astro Boy: Edge of Time notes it has cross-platform play. The game was originally supposed to come to PCs and mobile devices. However, no updates on the Android and Apple iOS versions have been released.
