Koei Tecmo updated the official website of Berserk and the Band of the Hawk with new images and details showing us more of Femto, the “Infinity Eclipse” feature, equipment, and more.
Femto (CV: Takahiro Sakurai)
Femto is Berserk’s main antagonist, Griffith, in his demonic form, serving as the fifth member of the God Hand.
In battle, Femto is able to slice and rip through space to hit enemies. He can even pull enemies through space and send them flying, as his fighting style revolves around controlling space.
“Infinity Eclipse” is a mode where you’ll fight waves after waves of countless enemies. During your journey, various characters will appear before you with their “Earnest Desires,” and these battles take place to make fulfill the desires.
In Berserk and the Band of the Hawk, you’ll get to power up characters through equipment. Equipment consists of accessories used to increase character abilities, usable items that support in battle, and battle horses used for transportation. Accessories and usable items can be purchased at the shops before battle. Again, you’ll get to use materials to upgrade capabilities and skills of accessories. You can also combine accessories to make even stronger ones as well.
The “Behelit Collection” is a feature that adds a little extra bonus to the gameplay. By meeting certain conditions in battle, or by defeating powerful enemies in the Infinity Eclipse, you’ll get Behelits. By obtaining these, you’ll unlock special images. The Behelits unlock parts of images, and once you unlock all the parts, you’ll get to check out the image. Think of it as a StreetPass gallery, but instead of getting pieces by meeting people with StreetPass, you get them by slaughtering enemies in Berserk.
Berserk and the Band of the Hawk releases in North America on February 21, Europe on February 24, 2017, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC. The game releases in Japan on October 27, 2016 for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita.
