Where to Find Glassrock Location in Hades 2

Glassrock can be found in the Fields of Mourning in Hades 2. If you are confused at first about how to get G.Rock to unlock the Argent Skull weapon, you are not alone! It took me a couple of hours to progress through the story before I finally found the crafting material. Don’t worry we’ve got you covered!

Here are the steps to get Glassrock in Hades 2:

  • Unlock the “Crescent Pick” Gathering Tool in the training grounds outside of the Crossroads.
  • Progress your run past Oceanus and make it to the Fields of Mourning level.
  • While exploring Fields of Mourning, look for a black rock with a sparkle on it.
  • Use the Crescent Pick to mine Glassrock. You can do this by pressing “RB” on your controller.

How to Get Hades 2 G Rock

The trickiest part of farming G.Rock in Hades 2 is making it past Oceanus, as you need to defeat the Scylla boss fight and her Siren band. However, once you make it past the water level, you will find yourself in the dreary Fields of Mourning section of the game.

Compared to previous levels, Fields of Mourning has a lot of enemies that can take you out quickly. So, my advice is to take this section slowly and really utilize your Magick attacks. Keep progressing through Fields of Mourning until you see a Black rock in the overworld.

For your convenience, I have provided an image below to show you what you should be looking for:

If you have the Crescent Pick equipped, walk up to the black stone and press “RB” to mine Glassrock. If you don’t see any G.Rock in the overworld initially, then keep progressing through Fields of Mourning, as at least one section should have it. If you are really lucky, you may even randomly get Glassrock in the first section.

After you obtain three Glassrock, you will need to mine Bronze to unlock the Argent Skull weapon. For a full breakdown of where to find the rare precious metal, check out our How to Get Bronze in Hades 2 guide.
