Bandai Namco has made two important announcements regarding Dark Souls III today. First, The Ringed City, the final add-on, will arrive in North America and Europe on March 28, 2017. The second is regarding a Game of the Year edition. Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition has been revealed for Europe and Japan. It will launch in the former on April 21, 2017, and in the latter on April 20, 2017.
In The Ringed City, Dark Souls III players are heading to a lost city. It’s a place that was only rumored to exist, but is proven to be real when we head there in search of the Slave Knight Gael. In this forgotten land, people will meet almost insane characters, learn more about the world’s past, face new opponents and bosses, and collect new equipment and magic.
Should people get Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition, they’ll get all elements of the game. That means the base experience and Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City add-ons. In addition, a Japanese version will offer a copy of the soundtrack, 80-page strategy guide, and poster.
Dark Souls III is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
