Dedenne Will Join Pokemon GO During the Festival of Lights

An electric-type Pokemon GO event is about to begin for Diwali, the Festival of Lights. Niantic revealed that it also means a new Pokemon will appear in the game. Dedenne will debut in Pokemon GO on November 5, 2021, with people able to get the character and avatar clothing. As for the Festival of Lights itself, it will run November 5-14, 2021.

Dedenne will be available in a number of ways. It will show up in the wild alongside other electric characters like Blitzle, Electrike, Magnemite, Pikachu, and Tynamo. It could also be a Field Research Task encounter. One-star raids might include a Dedenne. However, it won’t show up in eggs.

As for the Pokemon GO Dedenne avatar accessories, Niantic showed three. One will be a bag that looks like the critter. You could also get a hat that looks like its head. Finally, there will be sneakers with Dedenne’s face on them.

There will also be Festival of Lights related special items and events. People can get a free shirt during the event. If you head to the shop. Also in India on November 7, 2021, Blitzle and Dedenne will show up more often that evening. The in-game sky will also be brighter.

Pokemon GO is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. Dedenne will join Pokemon GO when the Festival of Lights begins on November 5, 2021. Some other recently added characters include Furfrou and Zarude.
