Final Fantasy VII Remake Sephiroth Redesign Detailed

Square Enix shared detailed images of Sephiroth’s redesign for Final Fantasy VII Remake. This included a look at some of the finer details of his outfit. Including the various motifs the developers put into this redesign. While Sephiroth’s gravity-defying bangs were integral to his character design, Final Fantasy VII Remake opted for a more “realistic” spin on the hairstyle. Additionally, his belt features a wing motif with several, additional black wings hanging from it. You can take a look at the Final Fantasy VII Remake Sephiroth redesign images below.

The images also show the material chosen for the individual parts of his outfit. This includes the iconic leather coat and gloves associated with Sephiroth. His pauldrons also have some battle damage, and additional pattern detailing at the edges. His appearance doesn’t differ too greatly from how the character appeared in Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core and Final Fantasy VII Advent Children. Bar the belt featuring the wing motifs. Sephiroth was featured in the FFVII Remake January 2023 calendar. The image used for the calendar was a screenshot from FFVII Remake, set in black and white. Final Fantasy VII Remake is available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, is currently in development.
