PQube and Inti Creates will be releasing Gal Gun: Double Peace worldwide. Both North American and European PlayStation 4s and PlayStation Vitas get the chance to follow Hodai as he searches for true love. The catch being that, should he not find her, he’ll be alone forever.

This is made more difficult due to the influence of an angel named Ekoro. Ekoro shot him with an arrow that’s made all of the girls at school immediately fall in love with him. They’re all rushing toward him to show their love via kisses and love letters. He has to use a pheromone shot ability, given by Ekoro, that blasts the women away. (Don’t worry, this makes them incredibly happy and doesn’t hurt them.) If he uses Doki-Doki mode, his attack will make oncoming “attackers” so happy that the ensuing Double Peace will temporarily clear the screen. With the path cleared, Hodai has his chance to find the real one for him.

Gal Gun: Double Peace is an on-rails shooter with Story and Score Attack Modes. In the former, you try to help Hodai find the right girl for him, which can chance due to players being able to make decisions while they play. The latter lets you go through levels to try and earn high scores. People can change the appearances of the girls appearing in game with extra costume options, some of which are only available as DLC. They can also go back and look at girls they’ve seen while playing in the Collection area.

An exact release date has yet to be announced, but Gal Gun: Double Peace will be released on both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita worldwide this year.
