Genkai Tokki: Castle Panzers Details Its Hero, Heroine, A Couple Monster Girls, And Gameplay

Following the little teaser images for the upcoming PlayStation 4 title Genkai Tokki: Castle Panzers, Compile Heart shared some more information on the game’s heroines and gameplay system in this week’s issue of Dengeki PlayStation. [Thanks, Hachima.]

First, here are some details on key characters.

  • Alex Ride (Protagonist) – He somehow gets his crotch stuck in a device after running away into the ruins to save the princess. After listening to a mysterious voice in the ruins, he signs a contract that allows him to use a powerful castle, but he must also collect underwear for it.

  • Iris Reingalestia (Heroine) – An imperial princess with a kind personality. She feels a sense of responsibility for what happened to Alex who helped her.

  • Sharon (Monster Girl) – Iris’ best advocate and a bodyguard who wouldn’t hesitate to throw her life for Iris. She’s a reliable older sister who is caring of others.

  • Leaf (Monster Girl) – A girl found at a Monster Girl village. She’s an elusive girl, and you can never really tell what she’s thinking.

The magazine shows Iris in underwear-like costume while dual-wielding blades. It suggests that there are some kind of costume transformations during battle.

The battle system uses a strategy RPG as a base, but  there won’t be any grids used for movement. If current strategy games are considered “digital” then this one’s something Compile Heart says is looking “analog.”

You’ll get to level up breasts and butts for the girls. And yes, there are touching elements, as you’d expect from the Genkai Tokki series. You can also level up the castle that the protagonist uses. The castles comes equipped with a giant gun, and there will be a way to make it grow bigger and stronger.

Due to the device from the ruins being docked onto the protagonist’s crotch, he’s not able to leave the ruins. Alex will get to move freely inside the ruins, and the ruins can also move too, so it won’t give you any troubles on the journey. However, it isn’t very practical for his everyday life.

Genkai Tokki: Castle Panzers is in development for PlayStation 4.
