There’s a new Genshin Impact web event called Paimon’s Starlight Expedition, and it is essentially a character quiz. It is tied to the just-released Genshin Impact Character OST Album: The Stellar Moments Vol 3 soundtrack. Until January 18, 2023, people can match people from the game to songs tied to them. People get Primogems as a reward.
Here’s how this Genshin Impact event works. First, someone needs to head to the Paimon’s Starlight Expedition official site and log into it. Paimon will then test players’ knowledge. A song from the new album will play. As it does, hints indicating the identity of the person the track it is tied to will appear. If someone correctly guesses and unlocks five characters, they get a code for 40 Primogems. Once a song starts, you can pick the character name from the list, then submit the answer. An obscured image in one of multiple colors will appear. This is tied to their element. So a yellow one means it is a Geo character like Gorou, Itto, or Yun Jin. You can also get up to three hints for each phase of the challenge.
Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the Paimon’s Starlight Expedition web event ends January 18, 2023. The 3.4 update arrives on January 18, 2023.
