Earlier this year, a The Silver Case remaster was announced for PCs. Grasshopper Manufacture and Playism released the adventure game worldwide on October 7, 2016. Now, a PlayStation 4 port has been confirmed for 2017. Grasshopper Manufacture will publish it in Japan, while NIS America will handle the North American and European releases. It’s an appropriate turn of events for The Silver Case. The Goichi Suda game originally debuted on the PlayStation in Japan in 1999.
For those unaware of the plot, The Silver Case players follow an investigation unit known as Republic as they investigate a serial killer named Kamui Uehara in the 24 Districts. Uehara allegedly died after a killing spree 20 years ago, but recent incidents suggest he’s still alive and continuing to terrorize people in the city.
The Silver Case will be available digitally and physically when it comes to the PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe in 2017.
