FFXIV Hatching-tide 2025 Includes an Easter Parasol

Square Enix announced the 2025 iteration of the annual Final Fantasy XIV Hatching-tide Easter event, and this year we can earn a new FFXIV parasol accessory in the MMORPG. The event starts on April 9, 2025. We then have a new quest to undertake. Finish it by April 24, 2025, and the new item is ours.

If you want to get started, you need to head to Old Gridania. An NPC named Jihli Aliapoh is waiting there at X:10.2, Y:9.4. Talking to the character will kick off “In Pursuit of Eggcellence,” provided you’re at level 15 when you do. Completing that nets you the new parasol called the Archon Egg Parasol.

Here’s how that FFXIV Archon Egg Parasol looks:

There's a whole new parasol to pick up in Final Fantasy XIV, as one was added for the 2025 FFXIV Hatching-tide Easter event.

As usual, some past items will be available via the Dreamer. In addition, other old Hatching-tide items for FFXIV will be sold in the Final Fantasy XIV Online Store.

Last year, there wasn’t a dedicated Hatching-tide. Instead, Square Enix combined it with Little Ladies’ Day. The item we could get was the Peatie mount. That mount later appeared in the Online Store for actual money, which allowed people who missed it to still pick one up.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the FFXIV Hatching-tide Easter event will run between April 9-24, 2025.
