French developer Kobojo are working on a persistent multiplayer online role-playing game for iOS devices and PlayStation Vita. The game is titled Zodiac, and is being developed in collaboration with scenario writer Kazushige Nojima and composer Hitoshi Sakimoto.
Nojima, as you might be aware, has worked on a number of Final Fantasy games, while Sakimoto has contributed music to games like Muramasa: The Demon Blade and Valkyria Chronicles.
Kobojo started out as a social games developer and specialize in developing online RPGs for touch-based devices. Zodiac, which uses 2D art and is being developed by their new studio in Dundee, Scotland, will be released in 2015. It is an asynchronous multiplayer game where with MMO-like features.
As of now, Zodiac is only confirmed for iOS devices and Vita, but Kobojo refer to it as a multiplatform, cross-platform RPG that is currently being shown on the two devices for the purpose of TGS. This means you can expect to see it in other places, too.
