Life is Strange is coming to two more operating systems. Feral Interactive has announced it is working with Dontnod Entertainment and Square Enix to bring the new adventure game to Macs and Linux PCs. It will appear on those two systems sometime in 2019.
This is not entirely unexpected. Feral Interactive also worked on the Mac and Linux versions of both Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm.
Here is the official announcement trailer for the Mac and Linux versions of Life is Strange 2.
In Life is Strange 2, Daniel and Sean Diaz are forced to leave their home after an incident that leaves people dead and injured. The brothers decide to head to Puerto Lobos, Mexico, their home town, in an attempt to rebuild and try for a shot at a normal life again.
Life is Strange 2’s first episode, “Roads,” is immediately available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. The release schedule for the other four episodes has not been announced. The Mac and Linux versions are in development. No Nintendo Switch version has been announced.
