Capcom has confirmed the date for the next Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Digital Event, which was previously only slated for May 2022. The stream will air simultaneously on Twitch and YouTube on May 10, 2022, at 7 AM PDT / 10 AM EDT. The expansion’s director Yoshitake Suzuki will reveal a new promotion trailer, more monsters, new actions for the Hunters, and other gameplay features.
The company has also published a teaser trailer for the upcoming Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Digital Event on May 10, 2022.
The Japanese press release provided more details about the upcoming event. The pre-recorded stream will run for approximately fifteen minutes. It will also have a segment dedicated to Malzeno, the flagship monster of Sunbreak.
The previous Digital Event aired on March 15, 2022. It revealed the new monster Garangolm, as well as the Player Hub and The Citadel area that will appear in the expansion. However, Capcom did not limit the game’s reveals to Digital Event streams as it also published new information directly on Twitter. The company revealed more armor sets in late March 2022 and supporting characters in mid-April 2022. On the day before today’s announcement, the franchise’s Twitter account also revealed a new option that will let players adjust hit effects.
Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak will be available for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on June 30, 2022.
