Capcom showcased gameplay footage of Monster Hunter: World at San Diego Comic-Con 2017 this weekend, where we got a glimpse of weapon action as well as a look at how the Signal Flare works.

The video starts out with a look at a Hunter using his environment to perform a jump attack. We also get to see the Signal Flare in action, which is used to call in other players for assistance. After calling for help, the Hunter gets help from other Hunters using a Hunting Horn, Switch Axe, and Light Bowgun.

As mentioned during the presentation, the Light Bowgun and Hunting Horn are more along the lines of support-based weapons, while the Gunlance and Switch Axe doing some beefy damage.

Monster Hunter: World launches in early 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a PC version releasing later.
