Gust recently announced the latest Atelier game and it’s a different one that will have a main character named Nelke who can’t even use alchemy but will get help from the best in the business.
The official website for Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists: Atelier of a New Land recently went live, and with it came a first look with a batch of new screenshots and details.

Nelke is a noblewoman who is bursting with curiosity. Due to a certain event, she’s been left in charge of building and developing a remote town known as Vestbalt. Nelke will do everything she can for her task, but will also get some help from some tremendously talented individuals.
Nelke is in charge of the development of Vestbalt, and her dream starts now.
Vestbalt is a quiet place surrounded by nature and not much else…
As you progress with the town development, it’ll eventually grow into a city with various buildings.
The town-building part will allow you to place buildings any way you like to make a town of your liking.
Earn money and develop the town, and earn some more money. By doing so the town will continue to grow.
As for what kind of town you want, it’ll all be up to you.
Nelke will get some help from the best in the business with legendary alchemists who appeared in the Atelier series. We have Marie, Meruru, Sophie, and many familiar faces who will help in the town-building. By growing friendships with the characters you’ll be in for some happy developments.
Here’s a peek at some limited edition versions for the game:
The 20th Anniversary Box comes with the game, a Nelke costume download, a visual book, soundtrack, B2-size cloth poster, a mini metallic clear poster, a set of 50 tin badges featuring Atelier characters, an acrylic Nelke figure, and an extra large Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists poster. This edition will be available for 26,100 yen for PS4 and Switch or 25,100 yen for PS Vita.
The Premium Edition version includes the game, the Nelke costume, visual book, soundtrack, B2-size cloth poster, and mini metallic clear poster. This one will be available for 10,800 yen for PS4 or Switch, and 9,800 yen for PS Vita.
Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists: Atelier of a New Land will release in Japan in 2018 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch.
