People will be able to hear songs from NieR in a new way in September 2021. Square Enix announced the NieR Replicant & NieR: Automata Chiptune Arrangement Tracks album. The CD will be available on September 15, 2021. It will cost $14.99.
While this is referred to as an album, it is more of a remix EP. There will be four songs from both games available on the CD. Square Enix didn’t reveal which NieR Replicant and NieR: Automata songs will get the chiptune treatment. However, the description did composer Keiichi Okabe supervised their creation.
Another NieR series soundtrack will show up in 2021. For example, the NieR Replicant 10+1 vinyl box set will also appear in September 2021. People will also be able to buy the four albums from that set separately for $29.99 each at the Square Enix Store. The company also revealed some NieR music boxes that play songs from past games.
NieR Replicant is available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. NieR Automata is available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC as well. The NieR Replicant & NieR: Automata Chiptune Arrangement Tracks CD will launch on September 15, 2021. However, Square Enix’s official product page did note it could ship later.
