Square Enix opened pre-orders for a NieR Replicant vinyl box set, titled NieR Replicant -10+1 Years-. The records are currently available to pre-order on the Japanese Square Enix e-store. Orders will close on September 15, 2021. The four-LP box set will cost ¥9,900 (about $90). It has a September 19, 2021 release date. [Thanks, Wario64!]
Included in the box set are four double-sided vinyls, each based on a main character from the series. The cover art is designed by manga artist Shirow Miwa, who worked on the Devil May Cry light novel and Rooster Teeth’s RWBY novel. He also worked on the character designs for Fate/Grand Order and Psycho-Pass 3.
Each LP includes a few songs from the original soundtrack, as well as various piano and orchestral compositions. The compositions were previously included in the Nier Gestalt & Replicant Piano Collections and Orchestral Arrangement albums. Some notable examples include a sax ensemble version of “Shadowlord” and a recorder ensemble version of “Emil.”
Additionally, pre-orders through the Square Enix store will also include an MP3 download code for the included tracks, as well as an original paper record stand.
