More Nintendo Switch Online games are on the way worldwide. However, not every region is getting the same games. While every app will get Joe & Mac (Caveman Ninja), Magical Drop 2, and Ninja JaJaMaru-kun, Japan will get a title honoring a game’s anniversary. The Japanese version of the Super Famicom Nintendo Switch Online app will also get Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. The games will appear in Japan on May 25, 2021 and in the rest of the world on May 26, 2021.
Here are the games you’ll be able to play in the Nintendo Switch Online NES and SNES apps outside Japan.
- Joe & Mac (SNES)
- Magical Drop 2 (SNES and in Japanese)
- Ninja JaJaMaru-kun (NES)
- Spanky’s Quest (SNES)
- Super Baseball Simulator 1.000 (SNES)

In Japan, people will be able to play the following Famicom and Super Famicom games.
- Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War (SFC)
- Joe & Mac (FC)
- Magical Drop 2 (SFC)
- Ninja JaJaMaru-kun (NES)
- Taiketsu!! Brass Numbers (SFC and known as Doomsday Warrior outside Japan)

The next batch of Nintendo Switch Online games will appear in Japan on May 25, 2021 and in other regions on May 26, 2021. The last batch appeared in February 2021. All subscribers have access to the new titles.
