Nintendo Switch Sales Surpass 89 Million Units Worldwide

According to a new financial report released from Nintendo, sales for the Nintendo Switch have now surpassed 89 million units worldwide. Additionally, the financial report reveals sales numbers for titles such as New Pokemon Snap and Miitopia. Sales for the Nintendo Switch have increased significantly, with the console now having sold 89 million units worldwide. This number reflects sales up to June 30, 2021. In March 2021, it was revealed that the Nintendo Switch had sold 84.9 million units worldwide. Sales for the console continue to climb.

Additionally, Nintendo has revealed that New Pokemon Snap has sold roughly 2.07 million units worldwide. Miitopia has sold 1.04 million units. By comparison, Mario Golf: Super Rush has sold 1.34 million units. These numbers reflect worldwide sales of each title.

The developer and publisher has also shared a list of its top selling first-party titles for the Nintendo Switch. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sits at the top of the list with 37.08 million units sold, with Animal Crossing: New Horizons taking second place at 33.89 million units sold. Nintendo mentions in its financial report that while Animal Crossing: New Horizons continues to perform well, sales have decreased.
