Nioh’s “Last Chance Trial” Demo Is Also Headed Westward On January 21

Recommended Videos

We previously reported that Japan is getting a last demo for Nioh on January 21, and Sony Interactive Entertainment just announced that the demo will also be headed Westward on the same day.

The Last Chance Trial demo starts this weekend through January 21 and 22, and will allow players to try out an expanded version of the demo that was shown during the PlayStation Experience last month. The demo will be available to download via the PlayStation Store later today, so you can be ready for action this weekend.

As previously detailed, the Last Chance Trial demo will have a number of bonus rewards for going through the sample. You’ll get the “Ogress Headgear” by beating the main mission, and the “Conqueror and Mark of the Strong” from beating the Twilight Mission. Both of those rewards were available from last year’s Alpha and Beta tests, and this will be the last chance to get them on time for the main game.

One more thing—in order to get the Ogress Headgear in the final game, you’ll need to keep your data from the Last Chance Trial demo, so be sure not to delete it until launch. For the Mark of the Conqueror and Mark of the Strong, you’ll be prompted to download a DLC that will need to be kept until the game launches.

Nioh releases in North America on February 7, Europe on February 8, and Japan on February 9, 2017 for PlayStation 4.
