Nippon Ichi’s recently teased title has been revealed as an action RPG called Anata no Shikihime Kyodotan, or Your Four Princess Knights Training Story, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089 and Hachima.]

The genre of the game is action RPG. It features character designs by Madoka Hanashiro, who recently worked on The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2. The development is being handled by the Penny-Punching Princess staff.

As for the game’s story, you’re a knight and instructor of four princesses. The game is described as a princess-upbringing strategy action game, where you’ll communicate with the princesses and go into battle with soldiers.

Since you are their instructor, you’ll need to choose between praising and scolding as part of the game’s upbringing system. If you choose the right one they’ll see some benefits such as a growth in upbringing or temporary status buffs.

As far as battles go, you’ll control the protagonist and princesses and attack enemies in action. Both the protagonist and princesses are “Commanders,” so they can give orders to soldiers as well. It’ll be key to know how to properly command soldiers, so it’s not all about controlling the playable characters.

Each princess comes with their own stories. Here’s more about the four:

  • Veronica (CV: Hiromi Igarashi): A young genius witch belonging to the magic guild. She plans on taking over the world with fear, just out of self-interest.

  • Liliati  (CV: Ayane Sakura): A princess and also the kingdom’s Knight Commander. She has a cheerful and optimistic personality, and is loved by her people.

  • Monomaria (CV: Rarisa Tago Takeda) A princess of Yudaria, a fallen noble family that belonged to an aristocratic merchant alliance. She’s been making a living with her retainer with a hired mercenaries business.

  • Alpana (CV: Yuki Kuwahara): A princess of the Dragon God family who founded the religion of “Great Makara Teachings.” She’s a philanthropist that aims to unify all families.

The game’s development is about 70% complete.

Anata no Shikihime Kyodotan releases for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch in Japan on January 25, 2018. Pre-orders come with a soundtrack bonus with select BGM tracks.
