No Plans For Musou Stars DLC Characters But If It Happens It’ll Be More Than That

Koei Tecmo released their all-star title Musou Stars in Japan last week, and producer Masaki Furusawa recently spoke of the possibility of adding DLC characters and more in a recent interview with 4Gamer.

4Gamer: With original characters includes, we have 30 playable characters, but are there any plans to add more via updates or DLC?

Masaki Furusawa, Producer: “We don’t have any plans on that for now, but believe we’ll look at its post-release reaction and research what kind of stuff in demand and gather data.”

“Simply adding characters wouldn’t be enough, so if we’re going to make something then it’d be best in a set with the character, story, and stage. If we’re going to go that far, then it’ll be important to know exactly what we should add.”

4Gamer: There seems to be a lot of demand for the horse from Winning Post (laughs).

Furusawa: In the Musou series, generals can ride horses, but this time there are some parts that wouldn’t fit the character’s settings, but they actually show up in the bathing area. There’s a lot of little things like that thrown in, so it’d make me happy to see players go through and get a feeling of Koei Tecmo Games’ history and see what kind of stuff it has to offer.”

Musou Stars is available in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
