Pokkén Tournament DX Shows Off A Torrent Of New Screenshots For Blastoise

New details for Pokkén Tournament DX’s Wave 2 of DLC have been revealed, along with a deluge of screenshots that show off new fighter Blastoise, as well as new assist Pokémon Mew and Celebi. [Thanks, Serebii!]

Blastoise:

Blastoise’s Synergy Burst and Burst Attack has it Mega Evolve into Mega Blastoise and attack with a blast that starts close-range but gains distance.

Mew & Celebi:

Mew uses a move unique to Pokkén Tournament DX called Miracle Power, which increases Synergy Gauge, Attack, and Critical Hits. Celebi on the other hand forces a Phase Shift with its attack, even if it’s blocked.

Several new costumes were confirmed for Wave 2, including a Blastoise T-Shirt, a Rock Guitar Set, Bi-Color Hair, Glasses, and a Refreshing Stole.

The next Group Match has been announced, and it will take place from March 23 to March 25, 2018. The theme is “Gun Destruction”, and is a Team Battle competition on a Fixed Battle Arena. Participating will net the player a title based on Blastoise.

Wave 2 of the DLC is set to arrive to Pokkén Tournament DX on March 23, 2018. Pokkén Tournament DX is available on Nintendo Switch.
