Level-5 announced in this week’s Famitsu magazine that the second game in the Professor Layton series is getting an HD smartphone release as Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box EXHD in Japan this December.
The smartphone game will be available for 1,200 yen. The first game in the series, Professor Layton and the Curious Village also got an EXHD release in Japan when it released back in June of this year for iOS and Android, followed by a worldwide release in September as Layton: Curious Village in HD.
