During the Nintendo Indie World 2019 presentation ahead of gamescom 2019, an Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition Nintendo Switch version was announced. This will mark the second time a former Xbox One and PC-exclusive has found its way to the system. (The first was Cuphead.) It will launch on the system on September 27, 2019.

Ori and the Blind Forest is Moon Studios’ Metroidvania about a guardian spirit living in Nibel forest with Naru, an adoptive parent. After a disaster strikes, it falls to Ori to work alongside Sein, an orb, to restore balance to the forest and once again make it a safe place for its residents. As you explore, Ori and Sein’s abilities grow in diversity and power.

Ori and the Blind Forest originally appeared on the Xbox One and PC in 2015. It will come to the Nintendo Switch as Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition on September 27, 2019.
