Sekiro Lead Game Designer Shows Off Advanced Gameplay With Smooth Moves And Satisfying Parries

FromSoftware shared a look at the latest gameplay of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice during a special PlayStation Japan Countdown Live Stage Event, where we got to see plenty of footage from the developers. 

 

The gameplay starts at around the 1:01:04 mark with a look at some new footage, including a look at a mini-boss fight against Juzo the Drunkard at around the 1:11:00 mark of the video. We also get to see gameplay from producer and DJ TeddyLoid who is a big fan of FromSoftware games at around the 1:28:00 mark.

 

Lastly, around the 1:35:15 mark we get to see some high level play from Sekiro lead game designer Masaru Yamamura who was told to pop off and show some good play for the occasion, and he certainly delivers with some smooth moves and satisfying parries against the Corrupt Monk boss.

 

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 22, 2019.
