Participants will be able to input their top 10 characters once per day, with every rank adding a certain amount of points to the tally. Once the results are announced, the overall top 10 characters, as well as the 20th, 30th, 40th, and 50th ranked characters, will have new merchandise with newly-drawn illustrations. There will also be a booby prize item for the 63rd-ranked character.

While prior Sengoku Basara character polls were open to the public, this year’s poll will be exclusively available only to paid members of the Basara Club. Even watching the poll result stream will require a streaming ticket to be purchased individually. All resulting merchandise from this poll will also be sold on the club’s webpage.

The latest game in the series is Sengoku Basara: Sanada Yukimura-den, which was released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in 2016. Capcom also recently released Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi Anniversary Edition for PlayStation 4 on July 21, 2020. The series’ mobile game Sengoku Basara: Battle Party will be shut down on December 21, 2020. However, characters from the series were recently added to Capcom’s mobile card game Teppen.
