Senran Kagura: Estival Versus’ Latest Trailer Recaps What The Game Is About

Senran Kagura: Estival Versus is like a huge island resort vacation for its ninja girls, during which they’ll make new friends and solve a mystery that involves the revival of the deceased. The latest trailer shows what the game is all about, and some of its new content.

The trailer starts out with a look at the shinobi girls getting together in what appears to be some sort of water sports competition, featuring the new and familiar characters alike, competing at an indoor pool. Next, we get a look at some action clips of the game’s 3D action in addition to an introduction to the new characters in Renka, Hanabi, Kafuru, Ryoki, and Asuka’s grandmother Sayuri. You can read more about them in our earlier report.

We then see a bunch of characters who’ll be fully-voiced in Senran Kagura: Estival Versus. There are over 25 playable girls in the game. As shown at the 2:00 mark of the video, costume destruction sequences have also been upgraded to show more detail.

Following that, the video shows the updated Changing Room feature, which has more options to tease the girls, and plenty of costumes to change their looks, and poses for making nicer-looking screenshots.

At the 2:43 mark, the video shows us a glimpse of the game’s competitive multiplayer mode, where you’ll get to compete with up to 10 players. Senran Kagura: Estvial Versus will also get long-term updates after release, which will add new functions, systems, and characters.

Senran Kagura: Estival Versus will release in Japan on March 26, 2015 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
