Square Enix announced they’re going to release Hitman: Absolution in Japan on January 24. Hitman: Absolution will be available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC with Japanese voiceovers and subtitles. As a bonus, the PS3 version also has English voice acting as an option.
Hitman: Sniper Challenge, a standalone game that GameStop and Steam offer as a preorder bonus, will also be available in Japan. In fact, Square Enix is trying to increase Hitman: Sniper Challenge’s distribution.
Starting in mid-October you can get a code for Hitman: Sniper Challenge if you reserve Hitman: Absolution or another CERO Z title from Square Enix at select retailers. Square Enix is also packing codes to download Hitman: Sniper Challenge with budget priced copies of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and Saints Row: The Third. Sleeping Dogs will also contain a code for Hitman: Sniper Challenge.
Register any CERO Z game to your Square Enix Members account and you can also get a code to download the demo for your PC. If that wasn’t enough, Square Enix is also teaming up with Famitsu to give away demos for PC. Basically, Square Enix really wants Japanese gamers to give Hitman: Absolution a try.
