Little Briar Rose is a point & click retelling of the fairy tae of the same name, casting players as a fearless prince who must help out strange creatures, decipher puzzling items, and find the sweet princess who inhabits a cursed castle.
Little Briar Rose uses a stained-glass like art style, with each area and characters appearing to be made of chunks of carefully-arranged glass. From enchanted lakes, goblin caves, and hills surrounded by sharp brambles, each has been rendered in this cute style, adding to the enchantment and wonder of the game’s storyline.
These glass-like figures have problems for the player to solve, and through finding the right items, playing minigames, and solving brain-teasing puzzles, the player will get closer to the mysterious princess. They’ll also get to see hints of other fairytale adventures, with a few nods to Disney films strewn throughout the Grimm-inspired lands.
