Steve Aoki will be holding a One Piece concert that will be exclusive to Anime Expo attendees on July 2, 2022. This concert will be to promote One Piece Film Red, which will air in Japanese theaters on August 6, 2022. Additionally, fans will be able to purchase Dim Mak x One Piece merchandise at the concert ahead of its appearances in stores. [Thanks, Crunchyroll!]
Tickets are now available via Showclix for Anime Expo Premier Fan badge holders. Others will be able to purchase their tickets from May 12, 2022. It is unclear if the collaboration between Steve Aoki and Toei Animation for the concert means that One Piece clips will play in the background, or if he will play songs from the anime series.
One Piece Film Red will be the latest entry in the line of One Piece movies. It will focus on Uta, who is Shanks’s daughter and a singer with an “otherworldly” voice. Leading up to the movie’s release, Toei Animation has released promotional material that shows everyone’s movie outfits. Since they will all be attending Uta’s live performance, they all dress like they are at a music festival.
The One Piece concert will be held at The Novo in L.A. on July 2, 2022. Tickets for Anime Expo General Attendee badge holders will be available for purchase from May 12, 2022. Those with an Anime Expo Premier Fan badge can purchase them from Showclix.
