Konami first released Suikoden II on the PlayStation in Japan on December 17, 1998, so the title is having its 25th anniversary in December 2023. The company is working on an HD remaster compilation for PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC that includes Suikoden II with the first game. While the remasters were initially slated for release in 2023, Konami announced a delay without giving a new release window in August 2023.

The capsule Gashapon containing Suikoden II 25th Selection acrylic charms will be available in Japan in the fourth week of December 2023.
