Them’s Fightin’ Herds is a typical fighting game with atypical fighting game characters. Players take control of various 4-legged combatants to deliver the beatdown on opponents, in a rather surprisingly combo-heavy example of the genre.
The game uses GGPO netcode, and new main story episodes will be delivered for free on a regular basis after launch. It is a four-button fighter with a magic system that drains a dedicated bar, and several other features that you can read about on it’s Steam page.
The game also has several crossover promotions with Blazblue: Central Fiction, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, and Skullgirls 2nd Encore. If people own these games, they will receive avatar sprites based on characters from those games, which are usable in the online lobbies.
