Aquaplus announced today that the Utawarerumono spinoff smartphone game Utawarerumono: Lost Flag begins service today in Japan.

For those unfamiliar with Lost Flag, it’s an RPG battle-styled spinoff featuring over 20 characters across the series, and while it’s not canon, it will apparently shed more light on some of the lore surrounding the series. The game features a new heroine, Minagi.
