After a brief delay, Nintendo Switch owners can now play Valkyria Chronicles 4 with Japanese voice acting. While the free add-on making it an option for the game was released on September 25, 2018, Sega needed to temporarily pull it, due to errors that kept it working properly. However, it is now available and working again.

The Nintendo Switch version of Valkyria Chronicles 4 is slightly different from the other versions, in that people who want Japanese voice acting as an option need to download a free add-on. (It is automatically included in other versions.) After going to the eShop and grabbing the free DLC, people can then go into the Event/Volume Options menu and choose between English and Japanese voice language.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 is immediately available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. In addition to the Nintendo Switch Japanese Voice Pack, a number of free Hafen decals can be downloaded for the game on all platforms. These decals change the look of the tank and affect its stats.
