Sega revealed an interview with Valkyria Chronicles 4 chief artist Hitoshi Fukuzawa, who elaborated on the most challenging aspect of making the art style of the game.
According to Fukuzawa, the canvas was the hardest part to get right, especially to make sure that the game looked and felt like Valkyria Chronicles. Fukuzawa made sure to constantly think about how line weight was handled so that boundaries of objects were properly detailed, and that the differences between shapes stayed clear.
Sega also reminded players that the Expert Level Skirmishes DLC is now available for purchase.
