Square Enix preempted E3 week with an early look at Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The E3 trailer opens with Adam Jensen before any augmentation, an operation he was forced to get after thugs nearly killed him. You can see Adam get revenge on one of the assailants in the video.
While the trailer goes through the game with lethal force and a fair amount of explosions, there is another way to play Deus Ex: Human Revolution. You can use stealth to slip past enemies and stun guns to knock enemies unconscious. You earn bonus points for going the non-lethal route, but unconscious enemies can wake up if a patrolling enemy finds them. Read our hands-on impressions for a look at both gameplay styles.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be available on August 23 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in North America. Europe gets the game on August 25.
