Consoles and PC are getting the crossover title Jump Force next year, but smartphones are getting a different Jump crossover game with a bunch of characters in Weekly Shonen Jump: Jikkyou Janjan Stadium.
Here’s a new trailer that highlights a bunch of its many characters from 39 works across the Weekly Shonen Jump universe, and more will be added after release.
Konami is getting the popular characters from Weekly Shonen Jump history and giving them cute appearances as “JanJan Characters.” These characters will also have their iconic moves to use in the game.
Here’s a look at some of the characters:
Luffy – One Piece
Arale – Dr. Slump
Izuku Midoriya – My Hero Academia
Gun Freecss – Hunter x Hunter
As for the gameplay, it’s described as an exciting battle royale with up to four players.
It comes with intense special attacks that you can pull off with simple one-button controls, with the goal of knocking opponents off the stage. You can play solo or with up to four friends for battle royale action.
There’s also a “Live Broadcasting System” to enhance its sense of realism, but we’ll have more details on that later.
Fans will get to check out more of the game at the Konami booth during the Jump Victory Carnival 2018 that takes place July 16 in Tokyo and July 22 in Osaka, Japan.
