Square Enix announced that they’re releasing a demo for World of Final Fantasy in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, and it’ll be available starting October 17, 2016.
The demo, titled “Dungeon Demo” will feature content that’s not part of the full version of the game, with a dungeon called “Attack on Plains” that was made just for the demo. It’ll let you control the protagonists in Lann and Reynn and work your way to the floor with a boss.
You’ll get to experience seeing Mirages, the game’s stacking battle system, along with conversations with Final Fantasy heroes.
After defeating the boss in the demo, you’ll get to use the save data to start a new game in the full version and recruit a special Mirage known as “Magitek Armor P.”
Additionally, you’ll get to see some figures of chibi Final Fantasy heroes such as Bartz, Cloud, Vivi, Yuna, and Lightning at the Keio Inokashira Line in Shibuya from October 10 through 16, where you’ll get to hear them say some of their lines from the game.
World of Final Fantasy releases in North America on October 25, Japan on October 27, and Europe on October 28, 2016, for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
